גבירותי ורבותי, היום זהו יום גורלי לקראת העונה החדשה, שבוע שליפות הנוער הראשון לעונה מספר 10 בישראל! הנערים שישלפו היום לא יתקדמו בגילם (לעומת שאר השחקנים שיזדקנו בשנה). לפני שתי עונות התמזל מזלי לשלוף שוער בן 17 ברמת סוליד. העונה השחקן הראשון שיצא ממחלקת הנוער הינו בלם סוליד בן 18. הצצתי קצת בקונפרנס וראיתי מספר יהלומים מבטיחים מאוד וזה רק שלוש שעות מרגע אפשור השליפות. אין ספק שישראל עוד תצעד עם כל הקבוצות הגדולות בעוד כ5 עונות ואולי אפילו פחות. בקשר לבחירות לנבחרת, אישית אני מצביע עבור דן. הוא לא שיכנע העונה בקבוצתו הפרטית אבל הוא לא מאמן של עונה אחת או שתיים כמו חגי, הוא תמיד היה שם (גם בגלל הוותק) וגם יש לו נסיון רב בניהול נבחרות.
תמה לה אליפות העולם, והתוצאה לא מפתיעה, המנצחת והאלופה הבלתי מעורערת היא שוב שבדיה! זוהי הזכייה החמישית של שבדיה מתוך 6 (נורבגיה זכתה במונדיאל מספר 4). המשחק היה חד צדדי ונגמר בתוצאה 8-0 כאשר היה ברור מראש שסיכוייה של סקוטלנד לנצח אפסיים. לטובת סקוטלנד ניתן לומר שזהו הישג היסטורי מבחינתי, גמר ראשון וללא ספק טורניר מוצלח ביותר שמעלה אותם למקום השני בעולם, 738 נקודות פחות משבדיה הראשונה.
הבוגרת ממוקמת במקום ה-38 לאחר שלא הצליחה להעפיל לאליפות העולם שהסתיימה זה מכבר. הצעירה לעומתה ממוקמת במקום ה-10 (והמכובד ביותר יש לציין) והיא העפילה לאליפות העולם לנבחרות צעירות שיחל ב-15 ליולי (15.07). ישאל תשחק באותו בית עם אנגליה(4), סין(42) ואסטוניה(35). יש לציין שהמיקום הגבוה של ישראל נובע מההצלחה שלה במונדיאל הקודם בו הוביל דן (הבש) את הנבחרת לשלב הבתים השני. מיקום שאר הנבחרות מטעה - הן אינן חלשות בכלל ולא צפוי לישראל אף לו משחק אחד קל.
