נדמה לי שגם אני צריך עכשיו להתפלל שלא אצטרך לראות את משחק ה'צמרת' בין הג'איינטס לסיהוקס.

דאלאס בבית נגד סינסנטי? נו באמת, שני פטפטנים מטומטמים אחד נגד השני...לפחות הבנתי שפארמר חוזר, אבל זה לא משחק. אין ספק שהמשחק בקולורדו הרבה יותר מעניין.

אגב שידור המשחקים מתוכננים לפני העונה?בכל מקרה אם לא בטלוויזיה אז כנראה אשב כל הערב אחרי המחשב...אני בשום פנים לא הולך לראות את דאלאס.

 

Man i would just love to see that Titans-Ravens matchup. Two smashmouth defenses, probably the best in the league, taking on each other after being involved in some back and forth trash talk throughout the weekend, i can assure you all there are going to be some huge hits in this one. Wonder if any of the offenses could score more than 10 points in this game.

My 12 year old sister is going to an NFL game today (Dolphins-Chargers) with a friend of hers while i'm staying home... talk about irony. Anyway, go Chargers! and go Bills! we have a real tough one in Arizona today but hopefully Anquan Boldin's absence will help us cope with their passing game. Should be a tight one there.

הרד סקינס פשוט מדהימים. מפגן עוצמה כבר שבוע שני ברציפות מול יריבה מהדיוויז'ן on the road ולא משנה איך המשחק הזה יסתיים, תענוג לראות אותם. 200 יארד על הקרקע מול הגנת הריצה הטובה בליגה זה לא פחות ממדהים בשילוב משחק המסירה של קמפבל (וראנדל אל!!!) יחד עם ההגנה שלא מפסיקה לתת big stops ועוד ברד זון על ביג בריאן ווסטברוק, לא יודע חברים, לא יודע, אם הם ממשיכים לשחק ככה משני צידי המגרש, סופרבול זאת לא מילה גסה עבורם. (אירוני שרק לפני שבועיים דיברתי ככה על פילי)

אגב, מישהו יודע מה נסגר עם החבר'ה שם בסיאטל? רק לפני שנה חצי הגנה שלהם הייתה בפרו בול... מאיפה באה ההתפרקות הזאת? הג'איינטס קבוצה מצויינת אבל אין שום תירוץ לשואה כזאת. כנראה שהפתיחה הצולעת שלהם לא הייתה בגלל מחסור במטרות להאסלבק אחרי הכל...

הק"ב של יוסטון מגדיר מחדש את המונח "פאתטי" במילון. לא מספיק שאינדי גם ככה בצעדי ענק לקאמבק, באחד המהלכים היותר מטומטמים שראיתי הוא מאלתר מהלך ריצה שמתפקשש ומחליט להתאבד עם קפיצה מעל שחקן אינדי, מפמבל כמובן את הפוטבול שמחוזר ל-TD קליל...

ולא נשכח תודה ענקית למיאמי שמנצחת את סן דייגו (להוריד את הכובע בפני פארסלס! איזה עבודה מדהימה האיש עושה שם) ושולחת את הבחורים שלנו בטירוף למשחק מול טמפה...

i watched to Miami-SD game and boy did i get mad... an absolutely pathetic performance by the Chargers, lame defending with many missed tackles and no pressure on Pennington (who was superb), and even a worse offensive performance with Philip Rivers completely out of sync. You know what, let's give the credit to the Fins. For the second time in a row their supposedly-stronger opponents just can't find an answer to that crazy wildcat formation, in which Ronnie Brown (MVP candidate if he continues to play that way, no kidding) takes the direct snap from the center while the QB lines up out wide. It fooled the experienced Pats D, it fooled the extremely athletic Chargers D, somebody please stop this! On defense the whole 11 guys played well for Miami, but especially impressive was the OLB opposite Joey Porter, a guy named Matt Roth who is a converted DE who seems to have really found a home at OLB. I really enjoyed watching him play, very strong in the point of attack and with a high motor...

the 17-10 score doesn't reflect what happened on the field, a 24-0 score would have been more justified, the Dolphins dominated that game from start to finish.

that Indy comeback was just embarrasing from what i managed to see, two fumbles in the money time by a QB (why didn't he slide in the first fumble?! he took a vicious hit there), i haven't seen that before. Indy are really lucky to be 2-2 in that point of the season, they could have easily been 0-4 and out of the playoff picture with the way the Titans are playing.

Oh, how 'bout them Titans?! winning that clash of defensiv eempires and improving to 5-0... they are for real.

now it's B-lo time... fingers crossed.

 

and there goes the season... Trent Edwards goes down injured and leaves the game, and his injury doesn't look good according to reports i'm reading. J.P Losman comes into the game and fumbles in his first possession, which gives Arizona a short field and shortly afterwards a TD. 7-0 to the Cardinals who are driving again... what a way to start a game.

4) הקולטס מזייפים כהוגן. ניצחון ביוסטון, אבל ככה לא מגיעים לטמפה.
5) הרדסקינס? האם הי תהיה הסוס השחור ב-NFC כי גרין ביי עוד פעם הפסידה היום. ממה שאני ראיתי בסטטיסטיקה הבעיה היא לא רוג'רס...

מהחלקים שיצא לי לראות, שוב לא הצלחנו לעצור שום דבר שאשכרה נשא כדור אבל הבשורה ההגנתית הגדולה מהמשחק היום היא לחץ על הקווטרבק. מעטים האוהדים שתיארו לעצמם שדבר כזה יכול להיות קיים עם קיצוניים כמו דומרביל (ה-MVP של המשחק היום) ואנגלברגר אבל 3 סאקים (!!!) היום מדברים בעד עצמם ומול אחד מהקווי התקפה היותר טובים בפרוטקשן על ה-QB, זה לא הולך ברגל. גרייסי סיים את המשחק בגלל אחד מהם וגם גארסיה ראה כוכבים עם איזה סאק בשלהי הרבע הרביעי.

ההתקפה שוב לא הבריקה, בעיקר כשזה הגיע לרד זון אבל בסך הכל הלקחים מהשבוע שעבר הופקו עם אפס טעויות שלא עלו לנו בשטויות מיותרות. גם העובדה שהקיקר שלנו השחיל פילד גול במחצית הראשונה מ-55 יארד (שעשתה את ההבדל בסוף) הייתה נחמדה מאוד...

שבוע הבא אנחנו סוף סוף משודרים מול הג'אגס, קל זה לא הולך להיות, נקווה שהיום בליצבורג יהרגו כמה אנשים (MJD יהיה ממש במקום) והכל יהיה בסדר. http://www.asoccer.co.il/html/emoticons/icon_thumright.Xxx

 

My sister went because her friend's family has season tickets and they had one available ticket today. And there's no way i'm paying to see the Miami Dolphins play unless the Bills are in town.

Apparently Trent went down with a concussion after a nasty hit by Adrian Wilson early in the first quarter. We didn't put up much of a contest later. Our defense got lit up by the Cardinals, Edge just ran over us, and there are no excuses for that, it has nothing to do with Trent Edwards. Our offense obviously had its fare share of struggles with JP Losman under center (that stupid fuck fumbled twice), but they still managed to put up 17 points. Just a bad day for the defense, no pass rush on Warner (0 sacks), no run defense, just plain bad. Guess it's back to the ground for us after a dreamy start. Good thing we have a bye week coming up, maybe that will help Trent and some other injured players recover and get ready for the Chargers at home.

Dolphins winning, Patriots winning, Buffalo losing, i lose in fantasy once again, just a bad week all around.

בדיוק סיימתי לראות תקציר מלא מהמשחק של דנבר והחיוך לא יורד לי מהפנים. אני מקווה שזאת לא הברקה חד פעמית ושנעשתה עבודה אמיתית השבוע באימונים אחרי החרפה של השבוע שעבר (לא ייאמן שההפסד היחיד שלנו העונה הוא לקבוצה שהפסידה היום 34-0 עם 35 יארד על הקרקע. LJ מוסר ד"ש אגב עם 7 נשיאות ל-2 יארד) כי הפאס ראש העצום שהצלחנו לייצר נראה מרשים, בטח כשזה מגיע דווקא על אופנסיב ליין כמו של הבאקס שלא איפשר בשבועות האחרונים להגנות אימתניות כמו של הברז והפאקרז לגעת בגריסי.

גם הספיישל טימז נראו היום כמו יחידה לגיטימית בליגה הזאת, ובניגוד לאיתי, אני סוגר יום חיובי מאוד עם ההפסד הזה של סן דייגו והניצחון שלנו שבא יחד עם הבשורה שאולי סוף סוף יש לנו אלמנט הגנתי אחד שאפשר לסמוך עליו.

למי שלא ראה את התפיסה של רג'י ויין באנד זון, רוצו לראות, פשוט מפלצתי.

I have tickets for our game against the Fins on October 26th here in Dolphin stadium... it will be a tough game with the way the Fins are playing right now, they are playing their asses of on defense and on offense no one seems to find an answer to that wildcat formation. Hopefully our coaching staff will come up with some solution by then.

Reggie Wayne's catch was out of this world indeed. Another really nice grab was made by Chicago's Marty Booker, one handed behind the defender's back, you can find it in NFL.com's Can't Miss Plays as well.

 

i don't know if you guys get all the hype in Israel, but here all the talk in the football world is about the huge shodown in college football in staurday noon. Undefeated No. 1 Oklahoma takes on undefeated no. 5 Texas in the classic Red River Rivalry, in a game which is dubbed the game of the year in college football as its winner will probably go to the national championship game. it's noon eastern time, so it will be 18:00 in Israel, a comfortable hour for a must watch game.

Crazy weekend...
